vicroad hazard perception test Page 255

The VicRoads Hazard Perception Test is a computer-based set of short driving clips where you choose the safe time to act — no trickery, just judgement.

You’ll need to pass it before you can get your P plates in Victoria, so yes, it matters more than your mate’s hot take on roundabouts.

Watch the scene, spot developing hazards, and click only when it’s actually safe; early, late, or panicked clicking earns you precisely nothing.

Do the official practice videos, stay patient, and think like a defensive driver, not a hero.
