victoria parking rules

Ah, Victoria's parking rules: a delightful maze of signs, time limits, and fines designed to keep your nerves as frayed as your parking options. In essence, you can expect standard restrictions such as time-limited parking zones, clearways during peak hours, and permit zones for residents only. Pay close attention to the signs, because fines can range from about $80 to $150 AUD if you dare to ignore them. Disabled parking bays require a valid permit, or you’re in for a world of hurt. For the most accurate and up-to-date info, have a gander at your local council website or ServiceCentral. And remember, parking rules here are less a suggestion and more a test of your attention span.
