volkswagen multivan configurations Page 2

Wondering how a Volkswagen Multivan can be set up? Short answer: many ways, because rails.

The common layout is 7 seats (2-2-3) with swivelling middle captain’s chairs; a 6-seat arrangement is also common for face-to-face “mobile boardroom” duty. Both short- and long-wheelbase bodies exist, with LWB adding cargo space without a game of Tetris. Dual sliding doors and removable/slideable seats let you flip from school run to surfboards in minutes, and some trims include a handy rail-mounted table. Exact configurations and options vary by year and trim, so confirm with the VIN or brochure before you buy.
