water restrictions sydney Page 16

Water restrictions in Sydney are the government's polite way of telling you to stop watering your garden like it's a rainforest. Typically, restrictions vary by level—from mild limits on sprinklers to outright bans on outdoor watering. Sydney Water usually implements these during dry spells to conserve supply.

Common restrictions include:

• Sprinkler bans during peak hours
• Limits on car washing
• Restrictions on filling swimming pools

Check Sydney Water or ServiceCentral for the current status, but don't be surprised if your garden starts looking more like the Outback than a botanical garden.
