waterfalls close to melbourne Page 162

Chasing waterfalls close to Melbourne? Start with Sherbrooke Falls and Olinda Falls in the Dandenongs—lush, easy walks, and you’ll be back for coffee before it goes cold.

Want more drama? Trentham Falls near Daylesford is a cracking single-drop cliff-hanger, and Steavenson Falls at Marysville brings big-water energy without an epic drive.

Head out after decent rain, wear grippy shoes, and mind the slick rocks—gravity loves an optimist. If you fancy a longer jaunt, Erskine Falls near Lorne repays the kilometres nicely.

Check Parks Victoria alerts before you go, and pack snacks—views always taste better with a biscuit.
