way of the hunter review

Ah, "Way of the Hunter" – a game that attempts to marry the tranquil art of stalking wildlife with the harsh realities of being a digital marksman. The graphics are impressively detailed, with lush environments that almost make you forget you're sitting on your couch and not in the wild. Gameplay focuses on patience and precision, requiring players to study animal behaviour and track footprints, which is a refreshing break from the usual run-and-gun nonsense.

However, the learning curve can be as steep as a cliff face, and some players might find the pacing as slow as a lethargic emu on a hot day. For those craving a hunting sim that values realism over relentless action, it's a solid pick. But if you're after high-octane thrills, best look elsewhere.
