what car won bathurst 2023 Page 8700

The 2023 Bathurst 1000 was won by Shane van Gisbergen and Richie Stanaway in a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Red Bull Ampol Racing. On Mount Panorama’s rollercoaster, the Gen3 Camaro outpaced a fleet of grumpy Mustangs and did it with a smirk. Triple Eight’s strategy and relentless pace did the heavy lifting, while the drivers kept it shiny side up through The Chase. So if you answered “a Camaro,” have a biscuit; if you said “Holden,” you’re a few seasons late. In short: Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Red Bull Ampol Racing, van Gisbergen and Stanaway—job done.
