You link a mobile number, email or ABN/Org ID to your bank account, then get paid via the New Payments Platform (Osko)—usually near-instant, 24/7.
It shows the recipient name before you send, saving you from fat-finger disasters, and you can move or lock your PayID if you change banks.
Banks typically don't charge for it, but scammers still try their luck, so confirm the name and never rush.
In short: fewer numbers, faster money, less swearing at your banking app.
