wheel strategy Page 3

Ah, the "wheel strategy"—not a secret race tactic, but a cunning options trading maneuver designed to generate income. It involves selling put options on a stock you wouldn't mind owning; if assigned, you then sell call options against those shares, effectively "rolling" profits as the market turns. The key specs? Requires sufficient margin and understanding of options expiry cycles. Benefits include steady premium income and potential acquisition at a discount, but watch out for assignment risks and capital lock-up.

For Aussie investors, brokers like CommSec or CMC Markets facilitate this, but remember to read the fine print and consult official docs before diving in.
