when do eofy sales start 2022 Page 2

In Australia, EOFY sales typically kick off in mid to late May, then build to a full tilt frenzy through June, peaking right before 30 June. In 2022 it followed the same rhythm, with some retailers teasing offers as early as early May because, well, we’re all impatient and stock can be fickle. Car dealers and big-box stores often roll out tiered promos—early-bird teasers first, then the juicier “must end June 30” deals as the clock runs down. Online sales can appear earlier or stretch a touch into July for clearance, but the headline bargains live in June. If you’re hunting vehicles or gear, keep an eye on Tradingpost during June when the markdowns gather steam. Bottom line: start looking from mid-May, be ready to pounce in June.
