where are fords made Page 532

Ford, the iconic blue oval, has manufacturing plants scattered across the globe like a well-fed map of car production. In Australia, Ford famously closed its local factories in 2016, so if you're hunting for a new Aussie-made Ford, prepare for disappointment. Globally, Fords are primarily made in the USA (Dearborn, Michigan), Canada, Germany, and China, with other plants sprinkled in places like Thailand and South Africa.

So, if you're eyeing a Ford, chances are it's imported, but at least you're getting a car with a pedigree stretching from Motown to Munich. For precise model origins and availability, check out tradingpost.com.au or carshowroom.com.au.
