where is capella qld Page 160

Capella is a rural town in Queensland’s Central Highlands, perched on the Gregory Highway between Emerald and Clermont.

It sits inland from Rockhampton—think big skies, utes, and a healthy mix of cattle and coal.

It serves the surrounding agriculture and mining communities and makes a handy base for exploring central Queensland.

If you’ve reached Emerald and kept heading north, you’re basically there.
