who makes ram vehicles Page 287

Ram vehicles are made by Ram Trucks, a brand under Stellantis—the big global outfit formed from FCA and PSA. Most Ram 1500s are built in the USA, while the heavy-duty 2500/3500 models roll out of Mexico. In Australia, they’re imported left-hand-drive and remanufactured to right-hand-drive in Melbourne by RAM Trucks Australia in partnership with the Walkinshaw Group. So yes, they’re proper factory utes with full local compliance, not a backyard conversion done with a Bunnings toolkit. In short: Stellantis owns the brand, America/Mexico build them, and Australia makes them road-legal and right-hand-drive.
