why are mitsubishi 380 so cheap Page 3

The Mitsubishi 380 is cheap because it’s a big Aussie-built sedan from the mid-2000s—exactly the sort of car the market ditched when SUVs took over.

It’s a comfy, capable front-drive V6, but it sips fuel like a footy team on Mad Monday and the badge never lit up resale charts.

Back in the day, heavy fleet sales and discounts flooded the used market, so supply stayed high while demand quietly wandered off.

Add older tech and infotainment to the mix, and shoppers chasing the latest safety gizmos look elsewhere, nudging prices down.

The upside? You get a lot of car for pocket-change money—just budget for maintenance on an ageing sedan and enjoy the bargain.
