youtube premium price increase australia

Ah, YouTube Premium, the service that lets you avoid ads and pretend you're too cool for traditional TV. In Australia, the price has seen a modest hike recently, now sitting at around $14.99 per month for individual subscriptions. Previously, it was closer to $11.99, so brace yourself for that extra latte money going to Google. Family plans have similarly nudged up to about $22.99 per month. Used subscriptions? Well, good luck finding a deal—it's all direct from Google, and second-hand doesn't really apply here.

If you’re hunting for ways to soften the blow, keep an eye on bundles or promotions, but expect the usual premium for premium content. For the most current pricing, check the official YouTube Premium page or local listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom if you’re multitasking.
