zz632 crate engine price Page 614

The Chevrolet ZZ632 crate engine isn’t pocket change; in Australia a new unit typically lands around AUD $65,000–$85,000 depending on stock, inclusions and exchange rates.

Lightly run-in or second-hand examples show up occasionally for roughly AUD $50,000–$65,000, often from builds that changed direction or toys that got a bit too serious.

Budget extra for shipping, GST/import duty, installation, and ancillaries (fuel/ignition bits, headers, cooling), because the big-block won’t bolt itself in while you make a cuppa.

Keep an eye on local performance shops and Tradingpost; when supply tightens, prices tend to do a passable tach‑needle impression.
