Sonos AMP Wireless Amplifier

The Sonos Amp provides a quality solution to bringing  many forms of audio entertainment conveniently into your living space. Firstly, it's a fantastic high power 2.1 amplifier for driving a pair of speakers and a self-powered subwoofer if desired. It is perfect for pairing with a turntable with inbuilt phono preamplifier, or just streaming from one of many music streaming services. No rival product supports more streaming services, is easier to use or has a more polished app. Its 125 watt-per-channel power lets you drive everything from the smallest ceiling speaker to the biggest tower, and everything in between.

Sonically, the Sonos Amp expertly paints a tonal picture, which balances substantial bass with textured mids and glistening treble that refuses to brighten. Its an immediate, upfront delivery thats instantly engaging and exciting. Theres oodles of punch. There is a soundstage with a lovely blend of width and focus. The Amp incorporates the subwoofer output for system expansion and further bass extension.

The Sonos Amp  goes further with its HDMI input for TV connection and surround sound system expansion. As with the Beam, Playbar and Playbase, two Sonos speakers (such as Ones) can be used as surround channels with the Amp, or you can instead add a second Amp connected to any two extra speakers you like to create a 4.0 system or even 4.1 if you add a wired subwoofer or the wireless Sonos Sub. Sonos Amp also gains AirPlay 2 functionality for streaming video apps, like Netflix, YouTube, or Amazon Video, which is a major benefit.

This just-add-speakers streaming system delivers room-filling, party-rocking fun.

The new Sonos AMP is an extreme value for money. Lots of power, lots of quality, all for a very affordable price.
