KEF Q7 Meta 3-way Bass Reflex Floorstanding Speakers are designed for impactful bass and sonic clarity. Featuring a 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT technology, they deliver detailed, lifelike sound.
Paired with two 6.5" hybrid aluminium bass drivers, the Q7 Meta provides a chest-thumping, immersive audio experience for music and movies. 

The Q7 Meta 3-way Bass Reflex Floorstanders offer exceptional sound quality for audiophiles and home theatre enthusiasts alike. Utilising the same Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) found in the larger Q11 Meta, the Q7 Meta ensures a high level of acoustic purity by absorbing unwanted high-frequency distortion.

This innovation is combined with KEFs 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array, ensures that the high and midrange frequencies are delivered with stunning clarity and accuracy.

Metamaterial Absorption Technology

The crucial advancement in the Q Series is the integration of Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). MAT is a highly complex maze-like structure that absorbs 99% of the unwanted noise from the rear of the driver, eliminating the resulting distortion and providing a purer more natural sound.

A 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT is found in all eight models of the Q Series. Uni-Q® acts as a single point source to disperse sound more evenly through the room, allowing everybody, wherever they are in the room, to enjoy the same natural, detailed sound for an immersive entertainment experience.

Speaker Performance

The evolved Q Series has been upgraded from a 2.5-way to a 3-way system design which ensures precise separation of high, mid, and low frequencies. This updated configuration significantly improves detail and clarity, bringing your music and movies to life.

Deep, Clean Bass

The Q Series features a hybrid bass driver design that provides stiffness to achieve a piston-like movement for better bass punch and speed. Combined with a port modelled using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), this results in precise and agile bass management even at high output levels.

Redefined Crossover

A critical component of the Q series is the refined crossover, which ensures seamless integration of all speaker parts. More than 1,000 specific measurements are taken for each speaker model, allowing precise signal path and optimisation for best possible performance.

Shadow Flare

Derived from the flagship models, Shadow Flare is a carefully profiled transition that extends the waveguide effect of Uni-Q. This design reduces unwanted cabinet diffraction, allowing the treble to escape naturally without reaching the cabinet edges. The result is vastly improved fine detail reproduction.

The Q Series speakers feature a contemporary minimalist design with a satin finish that offers a premium, subtle glow. Available in Satin Black, Satin White, and Walnut finishes, they are designed to blend effortlessly into any interior.
