Ortofon 2M Blue Pre-Mounted on SH-4 Headshell

Ortofon 2M Blue Pre-mounted

The 2M Blue features a Nude Elliptical diamond and split pole pins with a copper wire.

Designed for easy mounting of the cartridge, and for the weight and size to fit the most common turntables on the market today. The 2M Series provides excellent compatibility when used in an assortment of playback systems and with a wide variety of phono preamps.

The 2M Blue adds more dynamics and resolution, sounds more open and reproduces more details compared to the 2M Red model.

Accuracy level

The goal of any cartridge should be to reproduce sound as closely to the artist's vision as possible, and the 2M Blue takes you further on this journey toward authenticity.

The 2M Blue is mounted on our classic SH-4 headshell, making the setup process easy.

Stylus

The Nude diamond is cut in an Elliptical shape, and when it hits the groove it is like travelling through both space and time to the very moment the music was recorded.
