A: The T3 products are designed with tight tolerances to work perfectly together. Platinum Tools manufacture theirEZ plugs in the US as opposed to Taiwan, so their matching crimper is designed to work with just their connectors. Having said this, in our samples, the Platinum crimper stillworked with T3 connectors. Below is a picture of the end result. Note the slight indentation (damage) on the T3 connector left by the Platinum Tools crimper.
