When a Ford Territory’s reverse camera goes on strike, it’s not being arty—it’s usually power, wiring, or the camera spitting the dummy.

• Check the reverse lights and fuses first; if the lights don’t come on, the fuse or reverse switch is the joy-killer.
• Inspect the tailgate loom where it passes through the rubber boot—broken wires here are as common as bad servo coffee.
• Look for water ingress or corrosion at the camera plug; many factory cameras simply give up and need replacing.
• Confirm the head unit/ICC is getting a proper reverse signal and video feed; a battery reset or software refresh can wake it up.
