latest toyota hilux 2023 Page 3

The latest 2023 Toyota HiLux sticks to the proven recipe: tough as a roo bar and about as subtle.

Engine: 2.8‑litre turbo‑diesel; Power/Torque: 150 kW/500 Nm (GR Sport up to 165 kW/550 Nm); Transmission: 6‑speed auto or manual; Towing: up to 3,500 kg braked; Fuel use: around 7–8 L/100 km.

Ride quality is calmer than the older ones and the cabin gets modern tech, but it’s still built for work first and latte appreciation second.

It’s not the cheapest, nor the flashiest, yet reliability and resale are stronger than a long black.
