1966 Ducati 250 Mach 1 SOLD

Built in 1964, this beautifully original 250 Mach 1 is completely unrestored and was first registered in Germany in 1966. Retained by the original owner for 38 years, this unmolested example changed hands in 2004 and is still with its second owner in Berlin, Germany.

Although used in historic road trials, this Mach 1 has street registration and is completely road legal, and the bike retains all its original Ducati Mach1 specific parts i.e., fuel tank, mudguards, kick-start, toe shifter, Dellòrto SSI29 carburettor, clip-on bars, plus a Veglia Competizione speedo meter and side stand, and the original Ducati racing Megaphone and racing number plate.

This bike has been well maintained and has received many improvements such as complete cylinder head overhaul including new valves, guides & seats, new piston & cylinder rebore, engine case seals, electrical system and alternator renewed, steering head bearings replaced, forks stripped, rebuilt with new seals, rear shocks overhauled, swing arm axle & bearings renewed, and the seat has been reupholstered in leather.
