Beethoven Goes Jazz – For Piano

Beethoven Goes Jazz presents seven well-known Beethoven themes transformed through jazz harmonies, rhythms and improvisatory ideas. Jean Kleeb combines Beethoven’s characteristic rhythmic energy with styles including jazz, funk and other modern influences.

The arrangements sometimes remain close to the original Beethoven works, while at other times they freely reinterpret and transform the familiar themes. This makes the collection an enjoyable choice for pianists interested in combining classical repertoire with jazz and contemporary piano styles.
