ram horn Page 8

Ah, the ram horn—sounds like a beastly upgrade for your exhaust, doesn't it? In reality, ram horn refers to a type of exhaust manifold where the pipes curve like, well, ram's horns, to optimise exhaust flow and boost turbo efficiency. You'll find them mostly on performance diesel engines, especially in trucks and off-roaders. They help reduce turbo lag and improve torque delivery at lower revs, which is handy when you're hauling or towing in the Aussie outback. But beware: fitting one isn't always plug-and-play; it can be a pricey upgrade and may require ECU tuning. For genuine parts or used manifolds, check places like Tradingpost or CarShowroom.
