After years of SIT device experimentation, followed by deployment in Nelson's First Watt designs, circuit modification captured the unique tube-like sonic footprint of SITs from much higher-output MOSFET devices used in the Xs series.

Separate Dual Chassis - Two separate chassis, one for each channel, to minimise electromagnetic noise interference. 

Class A Operation - This amplifier operates in Class A, ensuring a high-quality audio experience with minimal distortion and a natural sound. 

Power Supply - Featuring enhanced storage capacitance, banks of redundantly parallel high-speed and soft recovery rectifiers, and improved high-frequency noise filters for stable power delivery. 

Noise Reduction -  Pass Lab engineers have worked hard to reduce noise levels, including improved passive decoupling and lower power standby. 

Input Impedance -  The Xs150 features a high input impedance of 200 k-ohm balanced with negligible capacitance.
